"The Best Gift I've Given Myself is the Gift of a Coach"-Bella

I've never been one to try to "hard sell" anybody on anything. Of course, I'll provide my two cents if I'm asked. I completed my first career counselling + coach training in 2001. We were taught to never coach anyone without their permission. So I don't. This is something I've continued to respect over the last two decades of working with clients. Today I'm going to do a little advocating though. But not for myself. For you. More specifically, for your dream. For the kind of life you want but think you can't have. This is what a good coach does. They act as a placeholder for your dream. It's like I keep setting a place at the table for it on your behalf. It's a vague figure at the table at first, like you can barely see it. You think it's not there but I know it is. The more we work together the more it starts becoming clear. Soon you start setting a place for it at your own table. This is what happened with Bella. We worked together for 6 months and had a whole lot of fun getting her to the point where she now sees her dream sitting across the table from her. Now it's just a normal thing. It's no longer this elusive thing. I don't need to be your coach. It doesn't have to be me. But you need a coach if you're stuck. Yes, you'll have to pay money. Who cares. Making money the reason you give up on having a dream is nonsense. You spend just as much money on all kinds of other things that don't enhance your life nearly as much as this will. You need a coach. Everybody does at some point. When you aren't fighting for your dream, a coach will. I will.
